Construction is one of the most dynamic sectors of the Brazilian economy, but it also generates a lot of waste. It is estimated that the city of São Paulo alone produces 2,500 truckloads worth of construction waste per day. This material can (and should) be reused as raw material for new construction.
Estre has a mechanized recycling system that has the capacity to process different types of construction elements. The recycled elements are used as raw material for various production processors in this sector, with physical properties similar to new materials, with the advantage of costing less. Sand, gravel, stones, mortar, concrete and ceramic materials are crushed and can be used again in different parts of buildings.
Estre invests in technologies capable of reinserting construction waste back into the production chain, helping to preserve the environment and offering competitively priced raw material to the sector.
